Complete Systems from Molasses to Final Spirit
Molasses is diluted and introduced into fermentation tanks, where yeast converts its reducing sugars into alcohol through a controlled biochemical process. The resulting alcohol is then separated from residual materials via distillation.
This process generates wastewater streams such as spent wash and spent lees, along with solid waste in the form of sludge, all of which require appropriate management and treatment.
The distillery unit produces Rectified Spirit, Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), and Ethanol, which serve as essential inputs for various industries, including pharmaceuticals and chemical manufacturing. Ethanol, in particular, plays a critical role as a biofuel, as it is blended with petrol to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. This contributes to energy security and helps conserve foreign exchange by lowering fuel import requirements.
Ethanol Production with Advanced Dehydration Technology
PSS Distillation delivers high-performance fuel-grade ethanol production systems engineered to achieve exceptional purity levels of up to 99.9% using advanced molecular sieve dehydration technology.
As the global demand for cleaner and sustainable fuels continues to grow, PSS Distillation empowers ethanol that support renewable energy initiatives for automotive, industrial, and renewable fuel applications while maximizing productivity and long-term returns.

Ode to the Founder
Lt. S. Parshotam Singh Malhotra
To speak of Parshotam Singh Malhotra Ji is to speak of a genius whose charisma could make the sun itself envious of its own brightness. As founder of this company, he did not merely lead in operations, production, and finance. He made those dreary disciplines sparkle with the wit of a drawing-room comedy. And yet, this paragon of corporate wizardry remained a devoted family man, a creature of the most admirable contradictions. To the PSS team, he was not simply an inspiration; he was the very oxygen in their lungs, the champagne in their celebration.
